Hello! My name is Wendy Jean, yes that's my full name. You may also know me as Wendy Wander Locks, hence I love traveling around the country providing hair and dreadlock services as well as education. I grew up and currently reside in Southern Indiana, just outside of Louisville Kentucky, however I have been a bit mobile the past few years traveling the country in an RV with my wife and dogs. As with most dreadlock artists, I too started out as self-taught, inspired by YouTube videos while practicing the ol' trial and error method on my friends enhancing my craft. In my career as a hair artist, almost 20 years to be exact, I have always believed in continued education and have been lucky enough to study under some of my long time dreadlock mentors. Now, having become a dreadlock educator myself, I am overjoyed to be able to offer my learned skillset and passion for hair and dreadlocks. I specialize in natural, synthetic, and wool dreadlocks as well as fantasy hair color! I truly love my job and I am passionate about helping my clients create the hair of their dreams! I very much look forward to meeting you all and passing on the knowledge I have gained along my journey.
