Hey There! My name is Jamie Robinson, I am the face behind Hair Maiden Salon. You can find me in Maitland, Florida. I have been a stylist since 2004. Having worked with Bumble&Bumble since 2003 in my apprenticeship. I was a Network Educator for Bumble & Bumble at Alchemy the Hair Salon and J. Bauman Salon. I have won nationwide hair contest through B&B and a contest for Orlando Industry Magazine ( A locally syndicated magazine). I am a hair cutting specialist; having worked under master hair cutters from Tony and Guy London and Orlando. Other training consists of: Arrojo Studios, Vidal Sassoon and having worked with Wella Color Professional since 2005. I also work with Hairdreams exstentions since 2011. Having worked with amazing stylists in my career I have learned to specialize in fun, vibrant colors and brilliant color placement. Perms and Dreadlocks are another one of my specialties.  I began learning about dreadlocks in my apprenticeship at Alchemy the Hair Salon with the Knotty Boy Method. Then I learned about the magic of using a crochet hook and steering away from nasty waxes.  I am a Sienestyle Affiliate since 2019. I studied in Sweden and  graduated from this program to advance my hook work and loctician skills. I am currently attending Dread Shop Academy for their sythetics program.   Photo shoots have become my passion and I hope to make that a career goal in my future for years to come! I am me. I love my craft and I want to continue on my artistic journey forever! Having been an educator for some years I absolutely love being a mentor! I have trained many apprentices and stylists. It really puts me in a blissful state to help people.

My biggest revelation has been  giving my clients an accurate estimate of time on getting their dream dreadlocks Sometimes it takes extra time and love to get damaged dreadlocks back to life. Extensions can take some time but when done properly are extremely worth the wait! One of the reasons I love the craft and art of making dreadlocks is the transformation of the person in front of you. It is such an honorable experience to make someone's confidence soar. This can be an experience  that people have been wanting for years!  Some of my deadhead clients share with me their lives, spiritual beliefs, stories, life experiences and attributes. I love what I do!  It gives me great joy helping clients achieve who they really want to be as a deadhead and help them feel truly beautiful in their own skin. My experience in dreadlock making has exposed me to learning new things together every day and form long term friendships with my clients.  I feel like we are peers almost like they understand the counterculture. I am grateful everyday for what I do. I am over the moon that I get to hang out with amazing clients and get to create beautiful dreadlocks everyday. I have always dreamed of having an environment that I could call home; along, with this exclusive group of extremely talented locticians! My passion has always been dreadlocks and photoshoots. I love experimenting with different types of synthetic dreadlocks and hair textures. I hope to always be true to my craft and education. I look forward to mentoring students and helping with the journey of creating beautiful dreadlocks one head at a time!
